The Anchorage Public Health Clinic offers the following preventative cancer screenings for women under age 50:
- Breast exams
- Cervical cancer screening (pap smears, colposcopy, genotyping)
You may be eligible for Alaska’s Breast and Cervical Health Check program, which pays for breast and cervical cancer screening – such as mammograms and pap tests – and many diagnostic services. One of our providers can review the program with you and provide referrals for mammograms and other services as needed. More information can be found at Alaska Breast and Cervical Health Check Program.
